MikroTik GPERx6 Outdoor Hybrid Fiber PoE Switch DC

The MikroTik GPERx6 (CSS606-1G-2Gi-3S+OUT) is a rugged IP66 outdoor switch purpose-built for deployments where running separate power and data cables over long distances is impractical. Using hybrid fiber + copper cables, it carries 10G fiber data and DC power simultaneously over distances of 1–2 km — then splits them at the far end into 3× 10G SFP+ uplinks, 2× Gigabit Ethernet PoE-out ports, and 3× DC outputs for IoT gear and devices that do not support PoE. Built for perimeter surveillance, remote CCTV towers, solar-powered edge sites, and industrial campuses where every cable run matters.

The MikroTik GPERx6 (CSS606-1G-2Gi-3S+OUT) solves a problem that every outdoor network installer knows well: long cable runs with too many cables, too many junction boxes, and too many potential failure points. The GPERx6 collapses all of that into a single hybrid cable deployment — fiber for data, copper for power — and handles the splitting at the far end so connected devices get exactly what they need.

The concept is simple but the application is powerful. Run a single hybrid fiber + copper cable from your head-end to a remote camera tower, perimeter post, or IoT cabinet 1–2 km away. The GPERx6 at the far end terminates that cable and distributes: 10G fiber goes to SFP+ cages for high-speed uplinks or further fiber runs; DC power feeds the Passive PoE outputs for cameras and access points; and the 3× DC output ports handle IoT sensors, specialized hardware, or any device that does not use PoE. One cable. One device. Everything connected.

The 88E6193X switch chip — the same chip proven in the netPower Lite 7R — handles switching without CPU overhead. The IP66-rated enclosure, passive cooling, and -40°C to +70°C operating range ensure the GPERx6 performs in industrial, coastal, agricultural, and extreme-climate environments without compromise.

Key features:

- 3× 10G SFP+ cages — long-distance fiber uplinks or further fiber extension

- 3× 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet — Ether1 with Reverse PoE-in (802.3bt, 42–57V), Ether2–Ether3 with Passive PoE-out (up to 57V)

- Passive PoE-out — low voltage limit 1.2A, high voltage limit 0.625A, total PoE output 150W

- 3× DC outputs — power IoT devices, sensors, and non-PoE hardware directly

- Dual DC inputs — DC jack (12–57V) and PoE-in (802.3bt, 42–57V)

- Hybrid fiber + copper cable support — carry data and DC power over a single cable up to 1–2 km

- Dedicated 88E6193X 10G switch chip — proven, wire-speed switching without CPU overhead

- SwOS — simple, fast, and efficient switch management with free lifetime updates

- Passive cooling, -40°C to +70°C, max power consumption 160W (6W without attachments)

- MTBF ~200,000 hours at 25°C

- CPU temperature monitoring

- Certified CE, EAC, RoHS | IP66

In the box: K-93 fastening set, 2× hose clamps.

Ideal for: perimeter surveillance on large campuses, estates, industrial parks, and ports; remote CCTV towers and pole-mounted camera systems; solar-powered edge networking sites; IoT sensor deployments in agricultural or utility environments; and any outdoor installation where minimizing cable runs between 100m and 2km is critical to cost and reliability.

General information

All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.

Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.

Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.

Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.

Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.

Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.

MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.

Wireless Netware offers every participant a free RouterBOARD hAP-ac-lite.

The price includes class attendance, course materials, coffee breaks and lunch, "Only for local Training." The amount does not cover travel and accommodation expenses.

Please bring (very important): Laptop, power extension strip (10ft./3m) with five sockets, one long Ethernet cable (16ft./5m+) and several short Ethernet cables.

Cost: Early bird price for the course is $850. It is valid 15 days before the scheduled session, referring to the MikroTik Training website. The price will be $1050 after the early bird date. The price includes class attendance, course materials, coffee breaks and lunch," Only for local Training." The amount does not cover travel and accommodation expenses. Seating is limited to only four students. The seat is reserved and guaranteed just after the payment is received in full amount.

Certificates will only be valid for three years.

Become a consultant: It's simple if you have MTCNA (score 75%+) and at least one valid MikroTik Engineer level certificate (MTCRE, MTCWE, MTCTCE, MTCUME or MEDICINE) with score 75%+, apply by email with your mikrotik.com account name and fields of expertise and MikroTik will add you to the list. To stay on the consultant list, you will have to have valid certificates, participate in the MikroTik Forum and attend the ...M.U.M. events in your country conducting RouterOS case studies or workshops for the rest of the attendees.
