MikroTik Chateau LTE7 Wi-Fi 5 LTE Cat7 Router
The MikroTik Chateau LTE7 (D53G-5HacD2HnD-TC&R11e-LTE7) is an affordable, elegantly designed home and small office LTE Cat7 router — keeping the signature Chateau aesthetic and quad-core IPQ-4019 platform while upgrading to the R11e-LTE7 modem for faster uploads, Band 28, and carrier aggregation at a lower price than the previous LTE6 model. It features dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz + 867 Mbps at 5 GHz), 5× Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1× Micro SIM slot, 1× USB-A port, 256 MB RAM, and full RouterOS v7 — purpose-built for households and small businesses that want reliable LTE connectivity without ISP-supplied equipment.

The MikroTik Chateau LTE7 (D53G-5HacD2HnD-TC&R11e-LTE7) is proof that replacing your ISP-supplied router does not have to be complicated or expensive. The Chateau series has been a global favourite for years — appreciated for its clean design that fits naturally into homes and offices without looking like industrial equipment. The LTE7 edition upgrades the modem to Cat7 and drops the price below the outgoing LTE6 model.
The R11e-LTE7 modem delivers 300 Mbps downlink and 100 Mbps uplink — twice the upload speed of Cat6 — with Band 28 (700 MHz) for better rural coverage and carrier aggregation (2×CA) for improved efficiency on congested towers. Whether LTE is your primary connection or a backup to a wired ISP service, the Chateau adapts to your setup without reconfiguration.
RouterOS v7 License Level 4 provides the full networking stack — VPNs for remote work, advanced firewall rules, VLANs, DHCP, traffic prioritization, usage monitoring, and scripted automation. Or simply plug it in and forget it exists. The Chateau scales with your knowledge — equally useful to homelab enthusiasts, remote workers, and households with no IT background.
