The MikroTik CRS804 DDQ (CRS804-4DDQ-hRM) is a compact, efficient, and future-proof 400G switch designed for environments where bandwidth density, reliability, and cost of ownership matter. Powered by the Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip and a quad-core 2.0 GHz ARM CPU with 4 GB DDR4 RAM, it delivers wire-speed switching across all ports while running RouterOS v7 for advanced traffic management and a familiar management environment.

Four 400G QSFP56-DD ports each carry eight independent data lanes, enabling flexible breakout to 2×200G, 4×100G, 4×40G, 4×25G, 4×10G, or lower speeds — allowing the CRS804 DDQ to interconnect virtually any SFP or QSFP device in your existing network and scale to higher speeds over time without replacing the switch.

Key features:

- 4× 400G QSFP56-DD ports — breakout to 1G/2.5G/5G/10G/25G/50G/100G/200G

- 2× 1G/10G Ethernet ports (10M/100M/1G/10G supported)

- Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip — full wire-speed on all ports

- Quad-core 2.0 GHz ARM AL52400 CPU, 4 GB DDR4 RAM, 512 MB NAND

- Dual hot-swap redundant AC power supplies (100–240V, 50–60 Hz) — included

- 2× hot-swap cooling fans for sustained thermal stability

- Max power consumption 123W (92W without attachments)

- Serial console port (RJ45) for out-of-band management

- CPU, PCB, and voltage monitoring

- RouterOS v7, License Level 6 — free updates for life (minimum 5 years)

- Rackmountable 1U — RMK-2x10/19 kit, rackmount brackets, and K-99 fastening set included

- -10°C to +60°C, MTBF ~200,000 hours at 25°C

- Certified CE, EAC, RoHS | IP20

In the box: 2× IEC cords, rackmount bracket, rackmount rear support ears, rackmount bracket (long), RMK-2x10/19, K-99 fastening set.

Optional accessories: G1394-0350WNA (350W AC hot-swap PSU replacement), G1382-0350WNA (-48V DC hot-swap PSU), MT-HotSwapFan-V2 (replacement fan module), DQ+BC0003-DS+ (200G QSFP56 breakout DAC 3m).

Ideal for: AI and GPU clusters, all-flash storage fabrics, compact 400G spine/backbone fabrics, edge compute installations, enterprise pods, and small data centres where traditional 400G equipment is too costly, too loud, or too large.

General information

All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.

Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.

Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.

Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.

Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.

Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
