MikroTik FTC21-UPS 2.5G SFP Fiber to Copper Converter

The MikroTik FTC21-ups is a weatherproof IP67 fiber-to-copper media converter with a 2.5G SFP port, 2× Gigabit Ethernet, and built-in Li-Ion UPS batteries. The integrated battery keeps network links stable during short power outages and brownouts — preventing unnecessary device renegotiations and reboots. Running SwOS Lite with VLAN, SNMP, and ACL support, it also delivers PoE-out on Ether2 (802.3af/at) making it well suited for outdoor CCTV and edge deployments.

The MikroTik FTC21-ups is not a standard media converter. It combines fiber-to-copper conversion with an integrated UPS battery, outdoor weatherproofing, PoE-out, and full SwOS Lite management — purpose-built for unstable power environments at the network edge.

At the heart of the FTC21-ups are two Li-Ion NCA 18650 batteries that activate on first power-up and keep links alive through short outages, brownouts, and voltage fluctuations. They are not designed for long-duration backup — they are designed to prevent the renegotiations, reboots, and support tickets that follow every flicker.

Key features:

- 2.5G SFP port — supports 2.5G, 1G, and 100M fiber links

- 2× Gigabit Ethernet (Ether1 + Ether2)

- PoE-out on Ether2 — 802.3af/at, up to 15W, ideal for CCTV cameras

- Dual power inputs — DC jack (24–57V) and PoE-in (802.3af/at, 48–57V)

- Built-in Li-Ion UPS — survives short power outages without link drop

- SwOS Lite — VLAN, SNMP, traffic shaping, ACL packet filtering

- IP67 weatherproof enclosure — fully sealed against dust and water immersion

- Passive cooling, -40°C to +70°C, MTBF ~100,000 hours at 25°C

- Pole mountable — K-95 kit and hose clamp included

- Certified CE, EAC, RoHS

In the box: K-95 mounting kit, 48V 0.95A power adapter, Gigabit PoE injector, hose clamp ×1.

Ideal for: outdoor CCTV uplinks, fiber edge nodes, remote access points, unstable power environments, and any deployment where a brief outage must not drop the link.
