The MikroTik Chateau LTE6-US is a purpose-built LTE Cat6 home and rural access router — combining a cellular modem, dual-band Wi-Fi, 5-port Gigabit switch, and full RouterOS v7 in a living-room-friendly enclosure designed to replace the underpowered mass-market LTE routers that bottleneck modern LTE connections.

**LTE Cat6 — carrier aggregation up to 300 Mbps**

LTE Category 6 is the defining capability of the Chateau LTE6-US. Cat6's carrier aggregation combines two LTE frequency bands simultaneously — reaching up to 300 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink where the carrier supports it. For a rural household where a nearby LTE tower offers strong signal but a cheap Cat4 router limits throughput to 150 Mbps, the Chateau LTE6-US removes the router as the bottleneck. MikroTik's own documented experience: "Internet speed doubling in rural areas after switching to carrier aggregation."

The EG06-A modem covers 11 LTE FDD bands — 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 13, 25, 26, 29, 30, 66 — certified for AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. **Canadian operators note:** Bell, Rogers, and Telus primarily use Bands 4, 7, and 12 — partial overlap exists, but Band 13 (Verizon) and Bands 29/30 are not Canadian carrier bands. Confirm specific band compatibility with your Canadian carrier before listing or purchasing. No IC (ISED) certification is published for this variant.

Two internal 2×2 MIMO LTE antennas provide out-of-box connectivity. Two SMA female connectors allow external high-gain LTE antennas (not included) for improved performance in weak-signal rural locations.

**Dual-band Wi-Fi and 5-port Gigabit switch**

The IPQ-4019 provides dual-band wireless: 5 GHz 802.11a/n/ac Wi-Fi 5 at 867 Mbps (5.5 dBi, 2-chain) and 2.4 GHz 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi 4 at 300 Mbps (3 dBi, 2-chain). All five Gigabit Ethernet ports connect wired devices at full 1G speed — desktop, NAS, smart TV, VoIP — with one port serving as the WAN input when a wired internet feed is preferred over LTE.

**RouterOS v7 — enterprise features at home pricing**

RouterOS v7 License 4 delivers the full feature set: WireGuard VPN, IPsec hardware acceleration, stateful firewall, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, parental controls, hotspot gateway, scripting, and TR-069 remote management. TR-069 enables mobile operators to manage Chateau units remotely on customer premises — configuring APN settings, rebooting, and pushing firmware without a technician visit. For a WISP or MVNO deploying the Chateau LTE6-US as customer premises equipment, TR-069 centralises fleet management.

The USB-A port (1A, USB Power Reset) supports a USB LTE modem for WAN failover, a USB storage device for local file sharing, or a USB printer server.

**5-year software support guarantee:** RouterOS v7 updates free for life of product or minimum 5 years from date of purchase.

**Canadian market advisory:** No IC (ISED) certification published. LTE band set is US-optimised (AT&T/T-Mobile). Confirm Canadian carrier band compatibility before listing. The Chateau LTE6-US is not a recommended stock item for general Canadian LTE CPE deployments without carrier band verification.
