MikroTik CRS812 DDQ 400G Rackmount Aggregation Switch
The MikroTik CRS812 DDQ (CRS812-8DS-2DQ-2DDQ-RM) is MikroTik's most powerful switch to date — a 1U rackmount 400G aggregation platform that makes 50G, 200G, and 400G connectivity accessible at a price point that was previously unimaginable for these speeds. It combines 8× 50G SFP56, 2× 200G QSFP56, and 2× 400G QSFP56-DD ports with full breakout mode support down to 1G/2.5G/5G/10G/25G/50G, a quad-core 2 GHz ARM64 AL52400 CPU, Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip, 4 GB RAM, dual redundant hot-swap PSUs, 4× hot-swap cooling fans, and RouterOS v7 License Level 6 — all at USD 1,295. Top-of-rack leaf, campus core, service provider aggregation, AI cluster fabric, or media workflow backbone — the CRS812 DDQ is built for all of them.

The MikroTik CRS812 DDQ (CRS812-8DS-2DQ-2DDQ-RM) is the switch that rewrites the entry price for 400G networking. For years, 400G meant six-figure budgets, vendor lock-in, and proprietary management software. The CRS812 DDQ delivers the same port speeds at USD 1,295 — with a RouterOS v7 feature stack that has been trusted in millions of deployments worldwide, and the operational simplicity of a platform your team already knows.
The port mix is the standout feature. Eight 50G SFP56 ports cover the server tier — fast enough for NVMe-over-Fabrics, GPU cluster interconnects, and high-throughput NAS workloads. Two 200G QSFP56 ports handle mid-tier aggregation or spine uplinks. Two 400G QSFP56-DD ports connect to the highest-bandwidth spine switches, core routers, or peer devices in the same tier. Every QSFP56 and QSFP56-DD port supports breakout mode — fan one 400G port out to 8× 50G, or one 200G port out to 4× 50G — giving you extraordinary port density flexibility without additional hardware.
The Marvell 98DX7335 switch chip handles hardware-level switching, routing offload, and traffic management with the efficiency expected of a purpose-built silicon solution at this tier. The quad-core AL52400 ARM64 CPU at 2 GHz with 4 GB RAM provides the compute headroom for full RouterOS v7 routing, advanced firewall rules, BGP/OSPF, MPLS, VLAN management, traffic shaping, SNMP monitoring, and scripted automation — simultaneously, without compromise.
Dual redundant hot-swap PSUs and 4× hot-swap cooling fans mean the CRS812 DDQ is designed for 24/7 production environments where downtime is not an option. Both PSU and fan modules can be replaced live — no restart, no service interruption. The G1251-0250WNA is the official replacement PSU for this platform.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.
