SYNOXX 16F OM4 Type B MPO Trunk Cable 16FMTPOM4-5M MPO Female 5m
The SYNOXX 16FMTPOM4-5M is a 16-fibre OM4 multimode MPO-to-MPO Type B (crossover)
plenum trunk cable delivering 5-metre within-cabinet and short cross-connect runs for
parallel optic systems — purpose-built for same-cabinet 100G and 400G connections where
3m is too short and 10m creates unnecessary cable bulk, supporting 2× simultaneous 100G
SR8 links, 1× 400G SR8 link, or 2× 100G CWDM8 wavelengths in a single 16-fibre run, with
an OFNP plenum-rated jacket for air-handling space code compliance. Built to ≤0.35dB
insertion loss at 850nm and 1300nm, MPO female connectors on both ends, Type B crossover
polarity, OM4 50/125µm multimode glass, and operating temperature -10°C to 60°C. IC
Certified for Canada and the US.

The SYNOXX 16FMTPOM4-5M is a 16-fibre OM4 multimode MPO-to-MPO Type B plenum trunk cable delivering 5 meters of structured cabling infrastructure for within-cabinet and short cross-connect parallel optic applications. At 5 meters, the 16FMTPOM4-5M occupies the reach class between 3m patch-length trunks and 10m within-room trunks — serving high-density MPO deployments where transceivers and patch panels share the same cabinet or immediately adjacent enclosures, and where longer trunks would create cable management bulk and bend-radius risk. With 16 fibers in a single MPO run, the 16FMTPOM4-5M simultaneously supports two independent 100G SR8 transceiver links, one 400G SR8 link, or two 100G CWDM8 wavelengths — fiber capacities that 8-fibre and 12-fibre trunks cannot provide in a single trunk pull.
Type B (crossover) polarity reverses fiber positions at each connector end for direct MPO-to-MPO trunk connections between matched Type B patch panels without polarity correction modules. Built to ≤0.35dB insertion loss at 850nm and 1300nm wavelengths with OM4 50/125µm multimode glass, the 16FMTPOM4-5M delivers the low-loss signal path required by parallel optic transceivers including SYNOXX EQP85Y-01D 100G QSFP28 SR4, SYNOXX EDQD400 400G QSFP-DD series, and all IEEE 802.3 parallel optic standards. The OFNP plenum-rated jacket meets NEC Article 770 and Canadian fire code requirements for installation in air-handling spaces, raised floors, and above-ceiling cable trays.
IC Certified by Industry Canada (ISED), the SYNOXX 16FMTPOM4-5M meets regulatory requirements for commercial deployment.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.
Wireless Netware offers every participant a free RouterBOARD hAP-ac-lite.
The price includes class attendance, course materials, coffee breaks and lunch, "Only for local Training." The amount does not cover travel and accommodation expenses.
Please bring (very important): Laptop, power extension strip (10ft./3m) with five sockets, one long Ethernet cable (16ft./5m+) and several short Ethernet cables.
Cost: Early bird price for the course is $850. It is valid 15 days before the scheduled session, referring to the MikroTik Training website. The price will be $1050 after the early bird date. The price includes class attendance, course materials, coffee breaks and lunch," Only for local Training." The amount does not cover travel and accommodation expenses. Seating is limited to only four students. The seat is reserved and guaranteed just after the payment is received in full amount.
Certificates will only be valid for three years.
Become a consultant: It's simple if you have MTCNA (score 75%+) and at least one valid MikroTik Engineer level certificate (MTCRE, MTCWE, MTCTCE, MTCUME or MEDICINE) with score 75%+, apply by email with your mikrotik.com account name and fields of expertise and MikroTik will add you to the list. To stay on the consultant list, you will have to have valid certificates, participate in the MikroTik Forum and attend the ...M.U.M. events in your country conducting RouterOS case studies or workshops for the rest of the attendees.
