MikroTik hAP ax lite Wi-Fi 6 AX600 4×GbE USB-C ROS v7
The MikroTik hAP ax lite (L41G-2axD) is a compact and affordable Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) home access point and router designed to deliver next-generation wireless performance without breaking the bank. Powered by an 800 MHz ARM CPU with 256 MB of RAM and running RouterOS v7, it offers four Gigabit Ethernet ports, AX600 dual-chain wireless on the 2.4 GHz band, and convenient USB-C power delivery — all in a small, passively cooled form factor. Ideal for budget-conscious deployments where modern wireless standards and powerful routing software are still a must.

The MikroTik hAP ax lite is a feature-packed, budget-friendly Wi-Fi 6 router built for home users, small offices, and scalable network deployments such as hotels or growing office environments. Despite its compact and lightweight design, it punches well above its price point by bringing the latest Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard to MikroTik's popular hAP lite lineup.
At its core, the hAP ax lite is driven by a Qualcomm IPQ-5010 ARM 32-bit processor running at 800 MHz, paired with 256 MB of RAM and 128 MB of NAND flash storage. This hardware foundation is more than capable of handling the full feature set of MikroTik's RouterOS v7, giving advanced users access to powerful routing, firewall, and network management tools right out of the box with no additional licensing required.
Wireless connectivity is handled by the integrated Wi-Fi 6 radio operating on the 2.4 GHz band, supporting 802.11b/g/n/ax standards and achieving speeds of up to 574 Mbit/s (AX600) with dual-chain antennas delivering 4.3 dBi of gain. This represents a significant upgrade in both throughput and range efficiency compared to older Wi-Fi standards, making it well-suited for dense wireless environments.
On the wired side, the device features four 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit) Ethernet ports managed via the MT7531BE switch chip, enabling fast and reliable wired connections for PCs, smart TVs, or other network devices. Ethernet performance benchmarks show fast-path bridging reaching up to ~2.46 Gbps and fast-path routing at equivalent speeds, making it a capable performer for its class.
Power is supplied via a single USB-C port operating at 5V (max 8W), and the included 5V 2.4A 12W USB power adapter means setup is straightforward with no proprietary power connectors. The device uses fully passive cooling, making it completely silent in operation and reliable across a wide ambient temperature range of -40°C to 70°C, with an MTBF of approximately 100,000 hours.
The hAP ax lite holds CE, FCC, IC, EAC, and RoHS certifications, and ships with RouterOS v7 pre-installed and licensed — no separate software purchase is needed. A mode button is included for easy resets or configuration changes.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
