MikroTik GPeRx4 802.3bt PoE Extender 3-Port PoE-Out IP68
The MikroTik GPeRx4 is a compact, IP68-rated outdoor PoE extender that splits a single high-power 802.3bt PoE input into three standard 802.3af/at PoE-out connections. It allows a single high-power PoE port to power multiple devices simultaneously, without the need for additional cabling infrastructure. Managed via SwOS Lite, it supports interface monitoring, VLAN configuration, traffic shaping, SNMP reporting, and fault detection — making it a smart and practical solution for outdoor PoE deployments. Note that the output ports are isolated and communicate only with the input port; this device functions as a PoE extender, not a switch.

The MikroTik GPeRx4 is an outdoor-grade PoE extender designed to maximise the value of a high-power 802.3bt PoE uplink by splitting it into three independent 802.3af/at PoE-out ports. This makes it possible to power multiple downstream devices — such as access points, IP cameras, or other PoE-powered equipment — from a single 802.3bt PoE source, reducing the need for additional cabling runs or power supplies.
It is important to note that the output ports are isolated and communicate only with the first (uplink) port. The GPeRx4 is not a switch — it is a PoE extender. Traffic from the downstream ports does not pass between those ports directly.
Power can be supplied via 802.3bt PoE-in (48–57 V) or through a 2-pin terminal input (24–57 V), offering flexibility for different installation scenarios. Maximum total PoE output current is 2.0 A across all three output ports, with per-port current limits of 0.7 A (low voltage) and 0.6 A (high voltage). The device itself consumes just 4 W without attachments, with a maximum total consumption of 115 W under full PoE load.
Housed in a robust IP68-rated enclosure and tested for operation from -40°C to 70°C, the GPeRx4 is built to withstand demanding outdoor conditions including full water submersion. It ships with a hose clamp for pole or pipe mounting.
Network management is provided through SwOS Lite, accessible via web browser. Features include interface monitoring, VLAN support, traffic shaping, SNMP reporting, and fault detection for GPEN links — giving network administrators meaningful visibility and control over connected devices.
The GPeRx4 runs on a 200 MHz CPU with a Marvell 88E6341 switch chip and 64 KB of FLASH storage.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.
Wireless Netware offers every participant a free RouterBOARD hAP-ac-lite.
