The MikroTik DDQ+DA0001 is a 400G QSFP-DD passive direct attach copper cable (DAC), 1 metre long — the shorter of two DAC options MikroTik offers for the CRS812 and CRS804 400G platforms. With integrated QSFP-DD modules on both ends, it requires no transceivers, no fiber, and no power budget management — simply plug it in and achieve full 400G connectivity between adjacent devices in the same rack. At USD 79, it is the lowest-cost entry point for 400G connectivity on the CRS812 and CRS804 platforms.

The MikroTik DDQ+DA0001 is the 1-metre direct attach cable companion to the CRS812 and CRS804 400G aggregation switches — purpose-built for same-rack and adjacent-rack connections where cable length is not a constraint and cost and simplicity are the priority.
Direct attach copper cables are the standard choice for short-range high-speed connections inside a data centre. There are no transceivers to source separately, no fiber runs to terminate, and no per-port optical power budgets to calculate. The integrated QSFP-DD modules on both ends are factory-matched to the cable — plug one end into the CRS812 or CRS804, the other into the peer device, and the link comes up at full 400G.
The 1-metre reach makes the DDQ+DA0001 the natural first choice for top-of-rack server-to-switch connections, same-rack switch stacking, and any 400G connection between devices in adjacent bays. Where 1m is not enough, the DDQ+DA0003 (3m) extends reach, and the DDQ+85MP01D optical module covers distances up to 100m via MTP/MPO-16 fiber.

Note: This is a passive copper DAC. It is not suitable for distances beyond 1 metre. For 3-metre reach use the DDQ+DA0003; for distances up to 100m use the DDQ+85MP01D optical module with MTP/MPO-16 fiber.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.
