By transmitting and receiving on split wavelengths (1270/1330 nm), the pair delivers efficient long-distance connectivity while halving fiber requirements. Built-in DDM monitors optical power, voltage, temperature, and laser bias current in real time.

The MikroTik XS+2733LC15D is a kit of two tri-rate BiDi transceiver modules — each module supports 1.25G SFP, 10G SFP+, and 25G SFP28 data rates with DDM support, operating as a matched pair over a single LC UPC single-mode optical cable at distances up to 15 km. Wavelengths 1270nm and 1330nm (one per module in the pair) — BiDi operation eliminates the need for duplex fibre, requiring only a single strand between two endpoints.
