Ship Charge Will Display As Free Until Ship Address / Location Is Provided To Calculate Ship Charge.
The MikroTik FiberBox Plus is MikroTik’s budget-focused outdoor 10G fiber switch, designed for deployments where four SFP+ ports and full outdoor weather protection are required without the additional 1G SFP ports found on the netFiber 9.
Marvell 98DX226S — Same Switching Platform as netFiber 9
The FiberBox Plus uses the same Marvell 98DX226S integrated CPU and switch ASIC found in the netFiber 9. This platform combines a dual-core ARM32 CPU with hardware-offloaded Layer 2 switching, hardware ACL support, Layer 3 hardware routing offload for inter-VLAN traffic, and jumbo frame support.
MikroTik specifically confirms that the FiberBox Plus shares the same switching silicon as the netFiber 9, delivering identical switching performance. The primary hardware difference is simply the absence of the five additional 1G SFP ports found on the netFiber 9.
4× SFP+ Ports — 10G and 1G Compatibility
The FiberBox Plus includes four SFP+ ports supporting:
- 10G SFP+ transceivers
- 10G DAC cables
- 1G SFP transceivers for legacy compatibility
This makes the switch suitable for:
- Tower site aggregation
- Outdoor fiber distribution
- Inter-building links
- 10G-capable wireless infrastructure
- Small outdoor fiber aggregation points
For deployments requiring only four fiber connections, the FiberBox Plus provides a simpler and more power-efficient alternative to the netFiber 9.
Outdoor Design — IP66 and Passive Cooling
The FiberBox Plus is built specifically for outdoor installations:
- IP66-rated enclosure provides complete dust protection and resistance to powerful water jets.
- Passive cooling eliminates fans and moving parts, reducing maintenance requirements and improving long-term reliability.
- Low power consumption makes it ideal for solar-powered or battery-backed installations.
The switch supports three power input methods:
- DC barrel jack
- 802.3af/at PoE-in
- 2-pin terminal input
This flexibility allows deployment in a wide variety of outdoor infrastructure environments including towers, utility cabinets, and remote network enclosures.

Canadian Market Note
The FiberBox Plus carries CE, EAC, and RoHS certifications. No FCC or IC certification is published, though as a wired-only switch with no wireless radio, ISED wireless certification requirements do not apply. Electrical compliance requirements for Canadian deployments should be confirmed with the distributor prior to listing.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.
