The SYNOXX EQP29Y-10D is a 100G QSFP28 LR4 optical transceiver engineered for 100Gbps long-reach transmission over single-mode fiber up to 10km. Operating across four LAN Wavelength Division Multiplexing (LWDM) channels centred around 1310nm — at wavelengths 1295.56nm, 1300.05nm, 1304.58nm, and 1309.14nm — the EQP29Y-10D multiplexes four independent 25G optical lanes onto a single duplex LC fibre pair, enabling 100G throughput over standard OS2 single-mode fiber with a familiar LC duplex connector. This makes it the standard 100G transceiver for inter-building data centre interconnects, long-reach campus backbone links, and metro-edge telecom applications where OS2 SMF is already deployed and MPO ribbon fiber is not available or required.
Compliant with QSFP28 MSA and IEEE 802.3ba standards, the EQP29Y-10D features a CAUI-4 (4×25G) electrical host interface for seamless integration with 100G switch ASICs and line cards, integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) for real-time visibility into temperature, voltage, TX/RX optical power, and bias current, and low power consumption across the full 10km operating range. Fully hot-pluggable in the standard QSFP28 form factor with an LC duplex connector, it delivers broad cross-vendor compatibility across all QSFP28 LR4-capable 100G switching, routing, and server platforms.

General information
All students who attend the Training can receive a free L4 license from MikroTik. Training should be at least three days long.
Students are allowed to take the certification test ONLY upon the attendance of individual training course, in the class, under the supervision of a MikroTik Certified Training Partner.
Each certification test consists of a pre-defined % of random questions (multiple choice and true/false) from specific question categories. Items also have a difficulty parameter. MTCNA test is generated from more straightforward questions, Advanced tests – from more difficult questions.
Only one attempt is allowed. The test must be finished within one hour. The passing grade is set to 60%. There are 25 questions in the exam.
Certificate numbers and RouterOS L4 licenses are assigned automatically by MikroTik. Students can see their certificates and generate license keys once logged into the account server. Printed documents from MikroTik cost USD 30 per piece. Shipping is not included.
Remote training sessions and certification exams are not allowed.
MikroTik Certification Test without prior attendance of particular MikroTik Training Session is not allowed.

Certificates will only be valid for three years.
