The MikroTik CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM is an enterprise-grade 1U rack-mount switch delivering 16× 25 Gigabit SFP28 ports and 2× 100 Gigabit QSFP28 ports, all driven by the Marvell Prestera Aldrin2 (98DX8525) switch chip with a non-blocking switching fabric of up to 1.2 Tbps. The 25G SFP28 ports are fully backward compatible with 10G and 1G SFP devices. Dual hot-swap power supplies with a 100–240 V AC input range and four active cooling fans ensure reliable operation in demanding data centre and enterprise deployments. The MikroTik XQ+CM0000-XS+ is a QSFP28 to SFP28 form-factor converter — a passive adapter that allows any SFP / SFP+ / SFP28 module (1G / 10G / 25G) to be inserted into a QSFP28 100G/40G port, enabling the use of existing SFP28 transceivers and DAC cables in QSFP28 port-equipped switches without a separate SFP28 switch layer. Tested ambient temperature -20°C to +85°C, MTBF ~100,000 hours at 25°C. No certifications published. The correct port-conversion accessory for CRS504-4XQ-IN, CRS518-16XS-2XQ-RM, CRS510-8XS-2XQ-IN, and any MikroTik or third-party switch with QSFP28 ports where existing SFP28 25G, SFP+ 10G, or SFP 1G modules need to be utilised without rewiring or adding a downstream switch.

The MikroTik XS+2733LC15D is a kit of two tri-rate BiDi transceiver modules — each module supports 1.25G SFP, 10G SFP+, and 25G SFP28 data rates with DDM support, operating as a matched pair over a single LC UPC single-mode optical cable at distances up to 15 km. Wavelengths 1270nm and 1330nm (one per module in the pair) — BiDi operation eliminates the need for duplex fibre, requiring only a single strand between two endpoints.
