The MikroTik CRS317-1G-16S+RM is a 1U rackmount managed switch built for high-density 10GbE fibre environments, featuring sixteen SFP+ cages and one Gigabit Ethernet port. Powered by the 98DX8216 next-generation switching chip with a dual-core 800 MHz ARM CPU and 1 GB of RAM, it delivers non-blocking Layer 2 wire-speed switching across all 16 SFP+ ports simultaneously. Supporting both RouterOS and SwitchOS via dual boot, it offers the flexibility of a full-featured Layer 3 router or a streamlined managed switch interface.
