The MikroTik XQ+31LC02D is a 100 Gigabit QSFP28 optical transceiver module designed for single-mode fibre links of up to 2 kilometres. It uses the CWDM4 (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) architecture, transmitting across four separate wavelengths — 1271 nm, 1291 nm, 1311 nm, and 1331 nm — over a standard Dual LC UPC connector, making it compatible with widely available OS2 single-mode fibre patch cables. The XQ+31LC02D is well suited for inter-building, campus, or data centre interconnects where DAC cables or short-reach multimode optics cannot cover the required distance, and is compatible with MikroTik's QSFP28-equipped core switches and routers including the CCR2216, CRS504, CRS518, CRS510, and CRS520.
